
The lodgings at Shakama include twelve suites, of which two are located in the main building and eight pairs nestled against a slope overlooking the valley. Six of these chalet suites also have outdoor showers in addition to the en-suite bathrooms. High up, on the top of the hill the newly renovated self-catering camp, Eagles Camp, is located. Eagles can sleep up to eight people and is only rented out as a unit on either a self-catering or accommodation only basis. The self-catering camp consists of two en-suite "split level" cottages, the communal kitchen and lapa, complete the circle.
All suites have private decks overlooking a ravine of unspoilt nature. Fine linen, tasteful interior decoration inspired by the natural environment and high thatched ceilings, all combine to create a feeling of comfort and bliss. Please note: Due to the slopes on which chalets were built, stairs between different floor levels may not make the accommodation suitable for physically handicapped persons.
